Genuine tempo from Lyrical Beauty leading Pretty Cheeky. IKNOWYOU (7) was beaten narrowly two runs back in a similar race to this at Quirindi then led but weakened when extended to 1300m at Dubbo last start. Best form comes at 1000m so he looks a great chance to bounce back to form. STIORRA (13) made up plenty of late ground to grab second last time out over 1106m at Port Macquarie. Very fit mare who will get all the favours from the inside gate. Doesn't win often but she gets things her way today. DESERT COUGAR (9) is back after a 171-day spell. Reunites with Braith Nock who rode her to victory last prep at his only ride on the mare. Capable of making a bright start to the preparation. PRETTY CHEEKY (6) had an eight-week let-up before a midfield finish over 950m at Moree recently. Will take a lot from that run and should be thereabouts. LYRICAL BEAUTY (8) resumes for a new stable. Opened last prep with a placing at Goulburn off a far longer break. Worth monitoring for market support. SUGGESTED PLAY: Iknowyou to win the last.
