Currumbin Alley to take charge ahead of Nature Boy at a strong tempo. CURRUMBIN ALLEY (2) was rewarded for consistency with a stylish all-the-way win over 2150m at Gunnedah last start. That was his first run beyond a mile and he relished the challenge. Lightly raced four-year-old who is getting up in the weights but can win again. SPENZALOT (3) caught the eye first-up over the mile at Scone then did nothing on a heavy track in a Rosehill Highway last time out. Raced twice in the 2100-2200m range last prep for a nine-length win and a desperately close second. Ready for sharp improvement. AUTUMN HEIR (6) has whacked away without threatening at his last couple of outings in shorter races. Form back in April/May around this trip was excellent. Can bounce back. BELLINI SPRITZ (1) is third-up today. Raced twice last prep over 2150m here and won both by an aggregate of 10.2 lengths. Can turn things around today. ROCKBARTON ICON (5) is new to this trip. Tries hard and he is a top four chance based on sound recent efforts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Currumbin Alley to win again.
