Solid tempo with Little Cointreau booting up along the inside while Legolas and Testator Silens push on from their awkward gates. LITTLE COINTREAU (8) did well to score at Barcaldine two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when third over 1400m at Tambo, beaten 1.5 lengths. Draws the inside marble and has the ability to figure prominently. SCORCHED LAND (4) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten a nose, at this track over 1200m. Can go on to take this out. Former NSW galloper AIMPOINT (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 14 lengths when ninth over 2100m at Tamworth seven-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. This easier and has the ability to find the winners' list. LEGOLAS (10) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but was below par last time when out of the placings at Tambo over the same trip. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Little Cointreau.
