Stalked the speed on debut with a game second over 1200m at this track in a Super Maiden four-and-a-half months ago. Winner of a recent trial and the cross-over nose band goes on. Has the speed to get over from the gate. ROCKTHEVELIO (10) resumes after finishing in the minor at her two career starts last January. Fitted with the two sound trials and can finish over the top of these from the inside gate. GRAND CAROUSEL (9) resumes. Struck trouble on her return and got further back than expected before closing late to run fifth over 1100m at Hawkesbury last October. Fitted with a 900m trial placing here. Stays in the mix. FINAL SPIRIT (3) was close-up at the trials so keep safe on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Gold Earth.
