BLAST BAROWS (6) is a consistent performer with three minor placings from three starts this time in work. Was always up in the leading division and finished 2 lengths from the winner in second at the latest outing over 1200m at this track. Heading the right way and gets his chance to get off the mark. MEPHISTO (10) had been in top form, landing two consecutive wins before a last-start second over 1200m at this track. Hard to knock and is a winning chance. RIKO MICA (8) returns after a spell of eight months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1100m at this track. Has to be respected. KATSUNO TOKIMEKI (12) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 1200m at this track. Has the class to take care of this field.
