Esprit Gonzalez and Hokko Somnium possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. HOKKO SOMNIUM (2) resumes from a spell of five-and-a-half months and comes here off the back of four straight wins. Far too good last time and expected to go right on with it. ESPRIT GONZALEZ (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second when resuming last start over 1500m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. ADO LUNATIQUE (11) got home by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1500m at this track. Has a good record at this track with two wins and two minor placings. Hiroto Ito who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Sure to be competitive. KITANO TOPAZ (10) made good late inroads and got up for third over today's trip at this track last start. Record at this track is strong. Must be respected.
