Plenty of pressure from Simeon, Prevailed and Tarzi Calling battling for the lead over Vail Mountain. ZOUPER FUND (8) is a well-bred gelding who has made great strides this time in, winning three from four and narrowly missing in the other. Handled the rise to 1200m no problem at Pakenham last time out and while this is harder again he's progressive and up to the challenge. THE SHAPER (9) struggled out to 1600m here last time out when well beaten but had been excellent prior behind the talented King Zephyr at Flemington, finishing third. A repeat of that effort sees him one of the hardest to beat. PREVAILED (3) won two on the bounce before just finding Stylish a touch too strong at Bendigo. That form has worked out nicely with Stylish winning on Saturday and Prevailed should get a soft run on speed here. VAIL MOUNTAIN (6) should take catching. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zouper Fund on top.
