In a race without an obvious leader, either Icandoit Onmyown or Lemmor can roll them along. Not the strongest Maiden. DARK AVALANCHE (4) had his second start and was sharply improved, beaten 1.9L here over 1200m. He keeps the handy 3kg claim and gave every indication that the longer sprint will suit. TRANSCRIBE (3) has a key jockey switch and can show more second-up. His debut effort at Ascot was good, suggesting she's up to this when on song. GRINGO (2) was better narrowly beaten at Northam over this distance. Needs a good Faithfull ride, but is a chance holding the form. ICANDOIT ONMYOWN (6) maps well and brings a string of placings from Kalgoorlie. The shorter journey shouldn't be an issue, and she always puts in. LEMMOR (9) resumes, and her placing here two back would have her right in it. Brings a solid Lark Hill trial and draws soft. She may be more forward this time around. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Dark Avalanche.
