A solid tempo anticipated with Dirty Chai and Looks ahead of Strictly Cash and American Escape. AMERICAN ESCAPE (7) was only beaten 2.2L in Stakes grade before the spell and was quickly back on track, beaten a whisker at Northam second-up. Keeps the gun hoop and the inside barrier will advantage. She has more to offer and can go one better. MANHATTAN STRIP (5) won a CL5 at Northam first up and hasn't missed a beat. He'd come off a trial win and has been freshened for this. He also draws low, and 2x winning rider Chris Parnham replaced Pike. He's good enough. HAMMARMILL (6) will give away a start but has pieces of form that stack up and will be finishing the race off. ANOTHER STRIKE (3) has been racing in stronger and is proven third-up. Has the blinkers on for the first time, and his best would give him a hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing American Escape.
