Anticipating a genuine tempo over the 1300m journey. MARS (6) ran a good race fresh up and looked a next upper. She has been trialled twice since and won the latest one. The 4yo mare has won here before and is a top chance. BRANCIFORTI (2) has won fresh up before and also won a trial last month. Class dropper and hard to see her out of the finish. IMPERIAL EMPRESS (7) she is a multiple class dropper resuming. Placed in both of her fresh up runs. Twice trialled so very forward. BALSAN (11) he too is a multiple class dropper fresh up. Twice trialled so is forward enough for this as well. Not out of this at all. ROCKIN ROSIE (8) was very poor at last start. Class riser. Drops to 53kg here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mars is the logical one to beat. Branciforti is the biggest threat.
