Expecting Ankoro to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. SHINING GIFT (8) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2.5 lengths at this track over 820m. Out in trip but sure to run well again. BEGINNING SHOMA (6) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. CEPHEID LOOP (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh over 820m here. Should be peaking now and looks the main danger. ANKORO (1) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 820m at this track. Definite top-three chance.
