TOMBO (12) is a model of consistency with top-three finishes at his last 12 starts, most recently scoring over 1400m at this track. Can go on with it. MEISHO KAMMURI (5) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PROOFREADER (6) is in great form lately scoring three wins in a row, the latest here over 1500m by a head. Rates a leading hope again. AOI RAN (7) lines up for the first time since February 10. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1500m at Funabashi. Worth plenty of thought.
