A solid tempo on the cards with Horse Spirit leading the way. POMERANIAN GOD (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1500m. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. HORSE SPIRIT (5) made progress last start to finish second over 1500m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. The engagement of Masaaki Ohata is a positive move. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. FUMIE (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 13 lengths when ninth over 1500m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Won't find this as tough so she is perfectly placed to score. INCA NO MEZAME (2) was beaten 7 lengths into sixth over 1500m at this track at her latest appearance. Better than recent efforts suggest.
