Speed assured from Taro Meister, Loulou Neige and Peduncle Arch pressing on ahead of Sehr Schnell. SEHR SCHNELL (13) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 1600m at this track on November 28. The first-up credentials are sound so he is likely to figure in the finish. CARNIVAL MARCH (12) rallied in the concluding stages to score by 2.5 lengths at the most recent appearance over 1600m at this track at the second run of the campaign. Generally runs well third-up. Finds the right race to make it two on the bounce. PEDUNCLE ARCH (4) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track two starts back then landed the prize by 2 lengths as favourite last time out over 1600m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. BELGARATH (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time but showed a bit last start finishing fifth at this track over 2200m. Suitably placed.
