Pride Of Lanka is expected to lead at a keen tempo. GERETY (3) on the quick backup after holding on to finish fifth over 1100m at Mudgee with the 59.5kg. Can stalk the good tempo and go close with the 3kg claim. EGOTISTIC (6) struggled to see the 1200m out when a plugging seventh over 1200m at Port Macquarie eight days ago. All three wins have come over this distance and the blinkers go on for the first time. Adept in all conditions. PORT ERIN (1) resumes with a handy first up record. Will find this easier after running seventh over 1200m at Doomben on November 27. Fitted with the one trial placing over 900m. Drops in grade and can take a hand in the finish.
