Just a moderate tempo headed by Kokkurisan, Silent Fleet and Chiyono Forever. KOKKURISAN (2) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over today's trip at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. KOSOKU MARI (9) was out of the money first-up but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Great chance to break through. NEVIS (3) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Mizusawa, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SILENT FLEET (5) finished well beaten over 1400m at Mizusawa on April 21 after he gave away a big start but should lay up closer this time.
