Solid tempo with Meisho Kammuri to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. DRE ANTHEIA (7) was well fancied last start over 1600m at this track when second, beaten 8 lengths. Has found the frame at all five visits to this track, including a win. Leading contender. GREGG (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is fitter and up to the task. CROWN COULOMB (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. MEISHO KAMMURI (4) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time. Nicely placed to bounce back.
