In the absence of noted leaders, Under Arrest and Madam Magpie may be the ones to set a moderate tempo. CALL DA VINCI (1) just ran into one better in town on debut and is sure to find this assignment a touch easier. Will be better for that hit-out and looks the one they all have to run down. UNDER ARREST (4) was well-found when facing the starter for the first time and where there's smoke there's fire. Looms as the main danger. PACIFIC NOVA (2) is at the races for the first time but won't need to be a superstar to be competitive against this lot. Respect any market confidence. STRENUOUS (3) will be better for that first-up effort and may earn some minor money. MADAM MAGPIE (6) next in line in a race with only a couple of chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Call Da Vinci to go one better.
