GOLD CROSS (8) continued the solid form last start, finishing 5 lengths back in third at this track over today's trip. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. GOOD GROWTH (3) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 8 lengths over 1700m at this track. Worth noting Masayoshi Aoyagi goes aboard. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. UMETARO (2) scored last start at this track to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Has a strong record here at this journey with six wins from 13 starts. Should be involved in the finish. YAMAME QUEEN (10) was well in commission last time when fourth over 1400m at this track. Tatsuya Nakajima who has nine wins when partnering stays on which is a bonus.
