Solid pace with Kenroku Charmant finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. MELONPAN MANIA (10) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1500m at this track, beaten only a neck. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SANEI CHAKO (8) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by 1.5 lengths over 1400m here last time. Will be tough to rein in again. AL SHIRAA (9) was far from disgraced when fourth last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. KENROKU CHARMANT (4) ran a better race last start, finishing just four lengths away in fourth over 1400m at this track. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
