Decent sized field but it lacks any obvious pace. ROSE PIE (6) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second over 1200m at this track. Placed to advantage and can take this out. QUEEN'S HAT (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when eighth over 1200m at this track five weeks ago. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. GRANDE SOLEIL (5) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1400m at Kawasaki last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. GOOD INDEED (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in second over 1200m at this track. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
