SMART KANATHOS (9) went forward and proved too strong when resuming last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 820m at this track. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated. LUCKY PROOF (2) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a neck over 1400m at this track. Wataru Hirose scored on her last time and retains the mount. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. HIKARINO AME (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 1400m at this track, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GOTT SCHEIN (8) won at this track two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing tenth over 1400m at this track. Deserves another chance.
