DANON KILAUEA (10) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Kyoto Dirt 12 weeks ago. Sure to prove tough to beat. COSMO STORM (6) finished second last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten a nose. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. KANATA KONATA (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 4.5 lengths away in sixth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt on June 7. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in two starts. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the better hopes.
