CHARYN - WORLD CHAMPION MILER 1200m Track: HVY8 Out 2m |

|
Speed should be right on over the 1200m journey. BELLE DU MONDE (2) had 3 starts at Riccarton last prep earlier in the year and was in the money at her second run back from a spell. She is bred to be good, and has just needed time to mature. She has had a couple of trials to bring her fitness along, and she should add to the good day that her stable is expecting. CONFECTIONIST (6) capped off some good form with a well-deserved maiden win at Cambridge at her first attempt on a poly surface. She won't have any issue reverting to the turf here. Michael McNab sticks with her, and so do we. SHUFFLE THE PACK (7) is a lightly tried 5YO mare with plenty of ability, and she resumes from a spell that would have done her the world of good. A 2kg claim will help, and she should be hitting the line hard in this. Each way value. LOS SANTOS (3) was running on late when resuming at Ruakaka and he gets a big swing in his draw this time. He will strip fitter, and we think he can figure in the top 3 here. EMPIRICAL (1) has to be included fresh up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Los Santos each way.
