Pace genuine with Star Magnolia and Echoes Of War pressing hard closely followed by Irish Wilma and Kotinos. STAR MAGNOLIA (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 1160m at Turffontein Standside last time, getting there by 3.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Aided by the rails draw and she is a leading contender. IRISH WILMA (7) did a great job to score by 3.5 lengths over this course and distance last start which was an improvement on the first-up run. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. KOTINOS (10) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1400m at Turffontein Standside. Nicely placed to bounce back. NKANDLA GOLD (8) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1160m at Turffontein Standside, beaten only 1.3 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ICONIC WINTER (2) usually races well second-up so can improve on her seventh when resuming at Vaal. Keep safe.
