Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. HERMAN SAID (5) speedy Exceedance gelding from a Bel Esprit mare on debut for the Kris Lees yard. Has shown a ton of pace in two good trials and will take catching here. TAMPA BAY (10) fitter after two runs back and will find this much easier after pulling up cardiac arrhythmia when a wilting eighth over 1250m at Newcastle in the heavy going. Anna Roper back on after placing at Newcastle first up. Can bounce back. TIGERMOTH (3) resumes after jumping quickly in trip at his second race start when a plugging sixth over 1600m at Kembla Grange. This is well short of his best and look for him late with the visors coming off. HOT CHESTNUT (8) returned from a lengthy spell when blowing the start and failing to get into the contest running seventh over 1000m at this track. Capable of better with the drop in weight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Herman Said to win on debut.
