PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC   23 Jun 2025

GOING: G

Australian Racing Tours Maiden Plate 1600m

Track: SYNTHETIC   Rain (Max: 18)   Rail: True Entire Circuit.

Solid tempo set by Mr Zeus and Rang A Round Up. MR ZEUS (3) looks the clear horse to beat. Liked his debut at Mornington when kept safe in betting, showing early speed to lead and sticking on well for second over 1500m. Finds a very winnable race here against horses with far more convictions and he should just roll to the top and prove too good. RANG A ROUND UP (12) was quickly spelled after struggling on debut at Geelong over 1243m but has jumped out better leading in here and should find this trip far more to his liking being by Highland Reel. INSPIRED CHOICE (8) has had plenty of chances but isn't going terribly and this isn't the deepest race. Can sneak into the minors. FIORENTINE ROSE (6) hasn't shown much to date but is lightly raced and open to improvement while HAYAI TSURU (7) can work home into the first four. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Zeus to win.
