Genie Kic has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. SUNLIT HOURS (7) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time, scoring by half a length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he is likely to feature in the finish again. COSMO CORONET (1) made good progress second-up from a break and at her first try on a dirt track when second at this track over 1400m. Expect she will go on with the job. GENIE KIC (6) is returning from a spell of eight months. Finished fifth at Monbetsu over 1100m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Koki Chiba. Can measure up at the first run for a new barn. SPRIT (4) pushed forward and was a determined winner by one length over 1200m at Morioka Dirt last time out. Is in solid form this prep, scoring two wins and a placing from six starts. Can sneak into the finish.
