Has a strong record at this course, scoring two times from four starts. Expected to be in the finish. RUBBLE PILE (6) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 2000m at this track, an improvement on his 13th at Kawasaki the run before. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. ASANTE GEAR (3) finished 11th over 1200m at Funabashi at her most recent appearance on April 1. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. ESORA (2) was below his best last time, finishing eighth at Funabashi, but nicely placed to bounce back in a softer race here.
