He finished second in his penultimate run on this course. Callan Murray retains the ride, and he can follow up with another victory. SALUTE THE FLAG (1) stayed on well when third over 1600m on this course last time. He steps up to 2000m and with Piere Strydom retaining the ride, he should pose a massive threat. DIESEL'S SHADOW (4) is better than his last two starts would suggest. On best form shown, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. DUAL PROPHECY (11) showed some signs of needing his last start over 1600m on this course. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck from his wide draw can cause the upset.
