Genuine tempo with Penthouse Nights leading the way. SALTBURN (4) narrowly on top in a race with a few hopes. He's certainly had his share of chances but is knocking on the door, placing in his past three when in the market. Back to 1400m looks to suit as he is pacy and from the low draw he'll be very hard to run down. FULL BODY RED (7) might be the one to do so. Two runs to date have been good, only going down by a neck over this track and trip last time out. If the apprentice can slot in without getting too far back she'll be very hard to hold out. MATRON SAMSING (8) ran well at Ballarat Synthetic first up, finding the line nicely to just miss. Showed a bit of promise last time in and should take beating. THINK HARD (11) hasn't been all that far away in three career runs to date behind some decent horses. Resumes here and must be respected for the Stokes yard. EMPRESS JUPITER (12) could be a sharp improver second time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Saltburn.
