Cracking tempo with Zenti and Deion leading the way.
DEION (2) extended his fine run of form last start when third in an open sprint at Coonamble. Big class drop today and will get all the favours from a nice gate so expect him to play a major role. MISS CLAMOROSA (9) led all the way and destroyed a Class 1 field over 1600m at Warren last time out. Back sharply in distance today but she is an honest filly who will give backers a sight with the help of the inside gate. NAVAL OFFICER (14) made it two wins in a row when he just arrived in time in a Class 2 over the mile at Parkes five weeks ago. Freshened up to come back in trip. Cannot be ruled out. ZENTI (3) led for the judge but wasn't able to go on with it last start in a BM82 over 1250m at Taree. Can redeem himself in this much easier assignment. KRANICH (8) is flying this prep and is a definite top three prospect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Deion but there is plenty of depth to this.
