My Naughty Hoaks, Mr Pago, Maconsilia and Prima can all be handy early. Should get an even tempo at the trip. All eyes on CHARLEVOIX getting up to a suitable trip after poking around at 1400m first up from a break. Did enough there and he looks well placed on his smart form from last campaign. Should be able to make his way into better races. While the last is a tough race, CHARLEVOIX is the best horse. His South Australian Derby run was excellent. If he's right and this is not too short, he is more than capable of winning. MR PAGO has been running well without winning. That coincided with him leading in those races. He's been wanting this distance. RIYADH has form against in form horses. He goes well for today's jockey. MY NAUGHTY HOAKS just keeps winning at the moment. She is a front running mare who just keeps fighting on. MAC'S METTLE never runs a poor one. SUGGESTED PLAY: Taking quinellas with 1, 7, 10 and 5.
