Billabong Sue will press forward and set a decent tempo. SHREWSBURY ROAD (5) is making his Australian debut having shown some promise in Ireland. He's twice placed, albeit over further than this but finds a very winnable race and if he's sharp enough he should prove very hard to hold out. FIRE AND LIGHT (2) hasn't set the world on fire in two runs back from a spell but wasn't bad last time at Cranbourne in a stronger maiden. Fitter again and can take catching. POP QUIZ (12) put in a much better performance at this track last start despite being beaten six lengths. The winner there is smart and she can go on with things now. SQUAW (13) was quite good here first up and could improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shrewsbury Road to win.
