Volgograd, Shinojimaniyorasai and Meiner Timely to take up the running at a strong early tempo. VOLGOGRAD (4) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by half a length at this track as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with four wins from eight runs. Big chance once again. MEINER TIMELY (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. I MADE IT (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start. This is a nice drop in grade so she will be hard to beat. DAIMON (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 1300m at this track last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Tough to stop again.
