Genuine tempo with Shezavixen leading the way. Tough. SHEZAVIXEN (5) led on the slow surface and was quickly back on track narrowly beaten at Wangaratta over this distance. Uses the rails gate and can go one better. THE KINGS GOSPEL (1) mixes the form but was only beaten 2L at Tatura two starts back. Nolen is booked today and that interests. Has a low draw and his best is good enough. BIRD DOG (3) has been racing well short of her best but peaks today for the strong barn back in grade. Draws soft and has to be considered. DIAMANDA (10) will be better suited coming back to the middle distance and has a handy 2kg claim. She may be the next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Shezavixen.
