CARMELTAZITE (11) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5.5 lengths away in fifth over 2200m in Listed grade at Hanshin on February 24 which was the only run of that prep. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past and is sure to play a big role. WATER PUIPUI (6) returns from a spell of ten weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 2000m at Kokura. Key runner while fresh. GROOVE BEAT (8) wasn't disgraced last start when fifth over 2200m at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. NOBLE RISING (9) turned in a fair effort at Kokura over 2000m at his last run four-and-a-half months ago, finishing sixth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Has found the right race and is worth including.
