Last raced when third over 1400m at this track eight months ago which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong fresh record including a win and one minor placing and best form puts him right in this. VOLKSLIED (1) scored a dominant win at Nakayama Dirt over 1200m at her latest appearance on March 30. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. SUN LYCORIS (8) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.6 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1400m here. Junji Iwabe stays on. Certainly one to consider. CAFE NIX (3) has not appeared since she scored on debut over 1400m at this venue on February 10. Major player.
