Slick tempo assured from Geuma Deft and Black Olive leading the charge. MOTO MOTO (7) found one better last start at this track over this distance after he was prominent at the bend. Has found the frame in all three starts at this journey, including two wins. He is over 5 weeks between starts but that should not worry him and he is poised to break through for his first win this prep. GEUMA DEFT (5) is back from a spell of nine weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1400m at this track. Likely to take beating. GOLDEN (3) finished 8 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1200m at this track, an improvement on his seventh at this track the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. BLACK OLIVE (4) returned from a spell two months ago and tasted defeat for the first time after not having all the favours that day. She has been given plenty of time to get over that effort and should be allowed another chance. Don't drop her.
