Good tempo with Wins Eight and Ben Wade leading the way. HAPPY FRIDAY (6) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 1000m at this track last time out. Veteran sprinter who won't mind the extra 100m and is sure to feature again. RIVER DRAGON (8) failed to figure again last time over 1100m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed this line-up and deserves another chance. WINS EIGHT (2) is yet to break through in 12 runs but wasn't far away last time when third over 1100m at this track on June 1. Should camp just off the leaders. Winning claims on best figures. VOLCANIC (3) was beaten 4 lengths into sixth in a 1000m contest at this track two weeks ago. No surprise to see him in contention.
