Returned for second prep with a slick victory over 1000m at Tamworth on May 21. Expected to go close again in this tougher contest. PYROMANIA (3) returned to form with a surprise neck win over this trip at Wellington on May 30. Well drawn again and pay to follow now he's recaptured his form. ANNYANME (9) improving filly with two wins from her last three starts. Went out hard early and paid the price late when a fading fourth over 1000m at Dubbo on May 25. This tougher but gets her chance from the draw with no weight. ISLAND LEGEND (7) fourth-up here and looks ready to win. Strong through the line with the 61kg when fourth over 1200m at Tamworth on May 21. Expected to be charging late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Somerton Sniper to win.
