PUTINS PROMISE (3) last time out took the lead at the 200m mark before getting outrun late to finish second. He has a good draw of three and can go one place better. VIVA DE JANEIRO (5) has finished second once and third twice from as many starts on this course. On best form shown, he should go close to winning. ZIP CODE (10) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung over the final 300m. He won his maiden over this course and distance in his penultimate start. He has scope and with Richard Fourie in the saddle has to be considered. ROSSORE FINALE (1) was sent out favourite last time out and scored easily at this track. Has started twice at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Should be prominent from the outset and is expected to prove hard to toll.
