Strong tempo, primarily from Cat Tail and Sound Luce. HIMINO ETOILE (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. First try this trip and leading rider goes aboard. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. ARISTOCRACIA (5) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. BEACH INN (2) recorded her first win when resuming last start over 1700m at this track, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Kazuo Yokoyama was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. CAT TAIL (4) showed early speed from a good draw last time and battled on to finish sixth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Worth including.
