Solid tempo with O Seikei leading from Bear Amici and Eifer Rapid. O SEIKEI (5) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1400m at Tokyo, finishing third and beaten 0.8 lengths. Showed good speed and just missed. Expected to take catching here. EIFER RAPID (2) stepped out on her debut over 1200m at Hanshin two weeks ago and finished ninth, beaten 15 lengths. Stepped out from a wide gate at that outing and draws much better in the small field here. Likely improver and worth following up. BEAR AMICI (3) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1400m at Tokyo. One of the main contenders. DOLCE TESORO (1) sat on the pace on debut last start but faded late when 8 lengths back in sixth over 1400m at Tokyo. Capable of a much better performance.
