Close to a win and has placed 2/3 when third-up. Expected to perform well. ASAKUSA GRACE (6) returns from a break of 11 weeks. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1200m at Fukushima. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. JUN VIN QUETE (3) returned from a spell seven weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into 15th over 1000m at Niigata. Strips fitter and can feature. BLACK KELLY (7) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 9 lengths into 13th over 1200m at Kyoto. Worth noting her strong second-up record. Solid contender in this line up.
