Strong tempo, primarily from Renovatio and Refle La La. RIKO HAWK (2) is racing well. Scored at this track two back then finished second, beaten a nose, over 1600m at Mizusawa at the latest appearance two weeks ago. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Expecting a bold showing. METAL LAVER (9) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at Mizusawa. Going up a level this time but he can win again. RENOVATIO (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1400m at Mizusawa. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. REFLE LA LA (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.0 lengths over 1600m at Mizusawa. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
