Fast tempo assured with Yalla, Guru Class and Canadian Express going toe-to-toe.
Another tough race for punters. GURU CLASS (6) returned to form last start when she led but just failed to hold on in a BM66 over this distance at Grafton. Back in class today so despite the big weight she makes plenty of appeal now that she has her mind back on the job. The speedy GREY IMPACT (10) has led for the judge but been overhauled in recent races in town, last time finish well back over 1350m at Doomben. Worth sticking with in this company. MONTE MAXIMUS (2) had an eight-week break before his modest effort over 1200m at Port Macquarie recently. Will take a lot from that run and in a weaker race over a bit more ground he gets his chance. Forgive the last two runs of RYLOV (4) on poly tracks. Placed two from three at this trip and can improve enough to test these. Market watch on INSINUATE (18) having her first run for Matthew Dunn. SUGGESTED PLAY: Guru Class each-way.
