Expecting Gas Brigade to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. PARO (5) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory with consecutive runner-up finishes this campaign and will better third-up from the break. Rates a leading contender against this line-up. Former Victorian GAS BRIGADE (4) is having his first run for the new stable but should find this easier than he faced down south and can run a race while fresh. JOPPA LANE (14) was a touch plain last time but go on the good third at Eagle Farm when resuming. Worth another chance. The well-related RAGING (6) (half to G3 winner and G2 placed She Shao Fly) has gotten better with each run this time in work and will be ready to peak now. Include in calculations. SUGAR ISLAND (9) strips fitter second-up from the break and may earn a cheque from the favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Paro to salute.
