Catavar, Spirited Flight and Music Is Life to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. COTTON RON (6) raced wide around the turn over 1400m last time but stayed on well at the finish. Both his career victories have come over this distance. The 4kg claiming apprentice Jacey Botes retains the ride. He has won on this course previously and may be the one to beat. NOW I GOT YOU (5) fought hard for his last victory over this distance at Greyville last start. He is in a good space and can follow up. DOUBLE OLYMPIC (8) won by a neck last time out at this track over 1200m but will have to carry more weight. Is in the mix. CATAVAR (3) is progressing well this prep, getting the job done last time out over 1200m at Greyville. Nicely placed to finish in the money.
