From the wide draw Neptunite can cross and set up a solid tempo. SUMO SANDY (5) has been good in two runs to date, beaten under a length on debut at Sandown Hillside before being heavily backed and run down narrowly at Cranbourne last time out. Fitter again, 1700m should suit and he'll be very hard to catch at a healthy price. TAUNG (6) will find this easier than recent runs, finishing sixth in the Port Adelaide Guineas last time out, and also sixth in the Caulfield Vobis Guineas behind recent G1 winner Bengail prior. Hard to hold out. NEPTUNITE (3) stuck on well on debut at Hawkesbury over 1300m, beaten three lengths. Quickly up in trip but have to back the stable. FACTCHECK (2) is racing consistently and now gets up in trip which should suit. Can break through. WRITTEN STORY (16) has to be considered. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sumo Sandy to win.
